Little Miss Monkey turned two this week! Happy Birthday!

Chapter 2 Family Picnic!

Steve bravely hosted us for our family picnic! We got to meet several new people this weekend: Tonya and Haley from Indiana, Sondra, Rachel and Jonah from Indiana and Ian and three of his children from the Toledo area! Hooray!

Trim Painted, Paint Cut In and Counter Tops Installed!

Hooray! The trim is painted, the paint color is cut in (look at the color around all the windows and doors) and the counter tops are installed!!! Hooray!

The tile and linoleum is in...but covered in cardboard so nothing gets damaged! Yay! I almost have a whole house!

Drywall, A Basement and a Picnic with Friends!

Last week I had my first picnic in my house. We started the festivities by having Kevin break in through my dining room window since my second set of keys *still* didn't work. Sam seems to approve of my house...mostly he likes the flags in my yard and all of the rocks!!

They spent the week taping and mudding my miles of drywall!



The basement floor has been poured and I finally got to walk on it. I am amazed at just how huge the basement feels!! Hooray!!
