At long last, through the snow and sub-zero temperatures, the dig has finally begun on my home! Hooray!!! The forms are in, walls are poured! They even moved my one, lonely little tree so that he wouldn't be smashed to smithereens!

Christmas was a success! The weather remained lovely and I got the opportunity to visit my families in different states and also several friends. It was a well needed break. Justin also managed to turn 15...which is frightening close to 16!

Here are a couple of videos that are, imho, hysterical. White and Nerdy is by Weird Al and may just be a theme song but The Evolution of Dance is for anyone who ever listened to bad music--watch the whole thing!

I spent $159 on a litter box today and I just know it was a totally reasonable purchase. I have been trying to explain to Bianca (my kitty) that it is an early Christmas present for her and that she is a very lucky kitty! It plugs in! It has a clock! It cleans itself! How could she not wax rapturous in her delight to have such a modern gizmo? She, however, refuses to see reason. She keeps talking about the rake of death that is automatically triggered every time she leaves the box and that she can't tell time anyway.
So maybe it is a gift for me! Auto-clean and auto-torture! Gotta love technology! :)
